Total La Mède - CMMS overhaul

Our client Total has recently completed the transformation of its Provence Refinery in La Mède (13) into a Biorefinery, creating the largest Biorefinery in France.

This transformation, referred to as the "Phoenix Project", will enable Total to eventually produce 500,000 tonnes/year of biodiesel, an environmentally friendly and responsible fuel made from used edible oils and vegetable oils, and thus meet the growing demand for biofuels on the French and European markets.

Having already been involved in the planning phase of the works, this time we were entrusted by Total with the project to overhaul the SAP P3A CMMS and Management Control system to adapt it to the new installations.

Our team, consisting of a technical coordinator and two preparers, worked for 12 months to carry out the following tasks:

• Modification and updating of the Pyramid of Technical Posts,
• Creation of spare parts bills of material, elaboration of preventive maintenance ranges as well as Cost Centres (SAP CO environment),
• Creation of the new structure of the PTO elements (″Eléments from the Project organisation chart Technique″),
• Adaptation of the DOA tables ″Delegation of Authority″.
• Preparation and implementation of the mass import of new data into SAP,

The objectives in terms of deliverables have been achieved and we have received the customer's congratulations.
