After a conclusive test phase on the DALIA FPSO, Total Exploration & Production Angola entrusted us with the execution of Virtual Visits on all FPSOs in Block 17, namely GIRASSOL, CLOV and PAZFLOR, as well as the KAOMBO SUL FPSO on Block 32.
Against a backdrop of very high definition panoramic views in 220 Mpx (compared with 20 Mpx for a standard 360 °), the Virtual Tour offers the user the possibility of navigating intuitively through the different units of an industrial installation, displaying equipment tags on screen, performing a quick equipment search and printing screenshots to quickly associate detailed photos with requests for interventions and technical files.
Initially designed with the aim of carrying out distance training on offshore installations, the latest technical innovations of the Virtual Tour now enable it to be positioned as a real tool to assist in the prevention and preparation of all types of work.
These services are carried out by the process team of our Impaqt Conseil entity with the logistical support of the Group's Angolan branch: Ponticelli Angoil.
