2021 - 2024

The aim of the MANOPS project was to create operating manuals for the 33 existing oil rigs in the Al-Shaheen oil field, spread over 8 sites, in line with customer specifications and requirements. The manuals were provided in electronic, interactive and pocket-sized formats, enabling operators to access information quickly and efficiently.

The team of around twenty people, including process engineers/writers and draughtsmen, produced a comprehensive set of documents detailing each installation, its systems and equipment. These reference manuals provide operators with an understanding of plant operation, facilitating operations and maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Each manual has been developed using available engineering documentation as raw material: process descriptions, technical drawings (P&IDs, PFDs, ESDs, layouts), operating philosophies, as well as rules for control, regulation and safety of operations.

Thanks to the OMIV platform, designed by Impaqt Conseil, the operating manuals for the 33 platforms have been converted into an interactive format. This conversion includes the simulation of automatic safety actions.

To successfully complete the contract, Alpha Maintenance chose to structure its business around two sites: Croissy-sur-Seine and the opening of an operational office in the Philippines. The aim is to consolidate business in the Philippines on a long-term basis, in line with current and future contracts, in order to maintain close collaboration with our Filipino colleagues.
